What happens to Rip when the Yellowstone has to be sold off? When John took on teenage Rip, he had the local governing body erase all evidence that Rip ever existed. Sure, he could go get a job as a ranch hand on someone else’s ranch….until a Californian developer buys up that ranch. He’ll literally be floating from one ranch to another. Of course, I’m sure Beth is a factor in here too, but when Beth has to leave the ranch, she’ll be going back to the city, back to the corporate world where there really is no place for Rip. Does this show end with Rip dying on the Yellowstone?
