Welcome to Podcast V – Discussing The Boys, the weekly podcast where Cat and Paul discuss each episode of Amazon’s The Boys! This week, episode 6: The Bloody Doors Off!
While not exactly Ocean’s 11, The Boys managed to pull off a heist of sorts this week with the help of a previously believed dead member of The 7: Lamplighter (Shawn Ashmore). In an uncharacteristic narrative style for The Boys, we finally learn some of Frenchie’s backstory through flashbacks to long ago dealings with the former hero and the Colonel (and why they both hate him).
In this podcast episode, Paul and Cat ask:
- If Fredrick Vought is basically Homelander’s father, then Isn’t Stormfront kind of his mother?
- Annie caused collateral damage when she acted to protect Hughie and Billy. In so doing, Is she becoming more like Billy? And if so, what does that mean for a future with Hughie?
- There’s a character credited as “Love Sausage”. Anybody -not- know who that was?
Listen in to see what else we have to say about this week’s episode!
