This week, This Is Us showed us four families taking their kids home from the hospital in “The Ride”. With Jack and Rebeccas taking the babies home for the first time, we get a reminder of Jack’s alcoholism and where he was in the journey when the babies were born. As we’ve discussed, Kevin has felt he would come up short if he had to measure himself against his father’s memory, but this episode reminded us that even Jack had his faults.
