In-person conferences and conventions have finally returned to post-pandemic Houston, TX, and Paul has jumped right into the middle of it by covering the Houston Horror Film Fest. The Fest, which looks to be the first in an active season of in-person genre-oriented cons in the Houston area, features both an extensive slate of feature-length and short films, as well as a robust roster of celebrity guests!
The masked and socially-distant con, is being held at the Houston Marriot South at Hobby Airport from June 25-27, 2021 (the year we go back outside). With over 1000 members in the convention’s Facebook group, the organizers prioritized safety at this sure-to-be well-attended con!
In this podcast, Paul teams up with Clubhouse members Adam and Devin from The Great American Scream podcast. They lend their extensive knowledge of the horror genre in a brief, yet thorough discussion of large and small horror movies to be seen at this event.
During the con, Paul will seek out interview opportunities with fans, creators, organizers, and anyone else that wants to be on the podcast so that you will be able to get a taste of what Houston has to offer horror fans. Look forward to those as well as a wrap-up with Adam and Devin as Paul will brag about all of the horror celebrities he’d just met (saying it makes it so).
