Pod Clubhouse Film Reviews: Laurel Canyon (Part 1)

epix

Welcome back to Pod Clubhouse Film Reviews. This episode, we’re discussing Laurel Canyon: A Place in Time, the new two-part music documentary on epix!!!

Laurel Canyon, directed by Alison Ellwood (History of the Eagles), tells the intimate and interconnected story of a group of musicians who created a music revolution in a small Utopian enclave in the Hollywood Hills.

In this podcast episode, Mike, Sheila, and newly inducted Clubhouse member, Jon, breakdown the music, the cultural significance and relevance 50 years removed from its creation. The hosts talk about the magical bubble these artists grew up in and how organically the music flowed from their camaraderie.

And we hope you also join us next week to listen to our breakdown of Laurel Canyon (Part Two)!
